The Co-op Local Community Fund awards money to local charitable causes, helping to bring people together and make a difference.
Every 12 months new local causes are chosen. To apply to be a Co-op cause applicants must have a project or event that:
- helps a local community come together to save, build, fix or improve indoor or outdoor local spaces
- supports the mental or physical health of a community through wellbeing activities
- helps people reach their full potential by developing their skills
- takes place in the UK or Isle of Man;
- doesn’t have religious or political aims (although you can still apply if you’re a religious organisation);
- meets the Co-op’s values; and
- takes place or will still be running after November 2020.
