In partnership with Stronger Kent Communities, join The Foundation for Social Improvement (The FSI) for their half day trustee training course delivered by experienced and knowledgeable trainers to give small charities, voluntary and community groups the skills they need to be sustainable.
This course will look at how the key legal duties and responsibilities of trustees and how these translate in practice to ensure a high performing Board.
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- understand the role and composition of an effective board, including legal requirements and best practice;
- engage trustees to go beyond the basic requirements of their role, bringing their full range of skills and values in order to demonstrate outstanding leadership; and
- assess the performance of the Board as a whole, and individual trustees, through an appraisal process.
