A free day of fundraising training, networking and expert funding advice in Maidstone for Kent & Medway charities and VCSEs.
The day will run from 10am-3pm, and will provide you and your group the opportunities to:
- meet with funders
- hear directly from funders about their current priorities
- have training on skills to support you for successful fundraising
- receive 1-2-1 funding advice about your specific funding needs
- share fresh ideas for funding
- network and build collaborations with other groups in the district
This conference will have a focus on practical steps to increase fundraising streams for your voluntary sector organisation, including a detailed case study of fundraising from a Kent charity, and workshops on messaging for a fundraising campaign and top tips for crowdfunding.
You will also have the opportunity to hear the funding opportunities from five key regional funders: Kent Community Foundation, Kent County Council’s Crowdfund Kent, The National Lottery Community Fund – Reaching Communities, The Worley Day Trust and Active Kent & Medway.
The funders will be present too for you to meet with them one-to-one, and to book in for funding advice sessions with Funding for All Fundraising Mentors. Plus we’ll be joined by Chris Knott Insurance to learn more about charity insurance.
