A free webinar aimed at Kent & Medway charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) who wish to learn more about claiming Gift Aid.

Gift Aid is an easy way to boost your voluntary donations by at least 25%, but many charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) are still not registered to claim. Some studies have estimated that approximately £600million of Gift Aid goes unclaimed each year!

So how can you get your hands on some of this? Well, the only barrier is getting registered and submitting a claim (and of course having eligible donations from which to claim Gift Aid on). It sounds simple, but the process isn’t the easiest to navigate and many charities simply give up explaining why so much goes unclaimed!

Do not fear, though. In this session we will walk you through the basics so that you have a better understanding of the process, how to register with HMRC and ensure you’re ready to make your first claim.

We will cover:

  • Getting charitable recognition from HMRC to claim Gift Aid
  • Adding the relevant services to your tax account
  • How to prepare for a claim
  • How to make a claim
  • What can and can’t claim for

The online workshop will be followed by a short Q&A session. To ensure everyone has a chance to have their questions answered we are limiting the spaces on this webinar to only 20 so early booking is recommended.
