Gift Aid is an easy way to boost your voluntary donations by at least 25%, but many charities and Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) are still not registered to claim. Some studies have estimated that approximately £600 million of Gift Aid goes unclaimed each year!
So how can you get your hands on some of this? Well, the only barrier is getting registered and submitting a claim (and of course having eligible donations from which to claim Gift Aid on). It sounds simple, but the process isn’t the easiest to navigate and many charities simply give up explaining why so much goes unclaimed!
Do not fear, though. During this free workshop, hosted by Kent Sport, you will guided through how to register with HMRC for Gift Aid and look at what you need in place to make your first claim.
The webinar will cover:
- Getting charitable recognition from HMRC to claim Gift Aid
- Adding the relevant services to your tax account
- Developing a policy and procedure to generate and submit claims
The workshop will be followed by a short Q&A session. To ensure everyone has a chance to have their questions answered we are limiting the spaces on this webinar to only 20 so early booking is recommended.
