Hosted by Small Charities Commission, this session is ideal for Treasures, Trustees and those in charge of managing the finances.
Reserves are a critical element when building small charity resilience. However, they are often, for very valid reasons, miscalculated. Furthermore, they are notoriously tricky to build up. This 90-minute session goes back to first principles to help you re-visit your reserves policy to ensure it remains up to date and relevant.
During the session you will look at:
- Why we hold reserves
- How to calculate reserves
- How to set the ideal target reserve level
- What a good reserves policy looks like
- How to report on reserves
Plus plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Date and Time: Wednesday 29 July 2020, 10-11.30am
