Coast to Capital – Growing Places Fund
Local GrantsThis is an investment fund of £23million to unlock stalled construction and infrastructure projects. It is designed to enable these projects to boost economic growth in the London Borough of Croydon, Gatwick Diamond, Brighton & Hove, Coastal West Sussex, Rural West Sussex, Lewes, and Surrey areas. The Gatwick Diamond area includes parts of West Kent.
The Coast to Capital Board will be responsible for allocating the funding to projects. The minimum level of investment funding is £250,000.
It is expected that it will be designed as a revolving fund and the intention is that this will be the first step in establishing an ongoing fund that will be available for further infrastructure improvements.
