The Lawson Trust awards grants to national and regional charities whose work benefits the communities of Kent and Sussex where the Founders of the Trust lived and worked.

The Trust’s key five priorities are:

  • Arts and Heritage
  • Education
  • Environment
  • Health
  • Social and Economic Disadvantage

Although there is no maximum grant size set that you can apply for the average grant is £5,000. For grants of up to £5,000, applications must be made via the Kent Community Foundation. For those over, you can apply directly to the Trust. Large grant requests are by invitation only.
