Medway Council: Medway Better Connected Digital Inclusion Fund

IT & Technology Local Grants Older People

Medway Council’s Medway Better Connected Digital Inclusion Fund, administrated by Kent Community Foundation, makes grants up to £5,000 to Medway groups/organisations seeking to support digital inclusion of local communities, particularly older people. 

Grants are available to cover digital inclusion work such as the following:

  • Upgrading equipment to enable you to deliver online support/services, or improve delivery of current services
  • Purchasing of new equipment to enable you to deliver your support/services online and/or to be used to provide training to service users
  • Digital skills training – upskilling staff/volunteers

This fund cannot be used to purchase equipment that will be loaned or given to service users.

Funded work need not be exclusively for older people, but should be easily accessible by them. Local people should be involved in the planning or development of this work.
