Loans

NatWest (/Royal Bank of Scotland)’s Community Business Loans provide investment of between £30,000 and £500,000 to charities, social enterprises, community interest companies or co-operatives that:

  • have social or environmental aims, reinvesting profits to deliver a positive impact;
  • are financially sustainable;
  • are investment ready in terms of management, governance and financial position;
  • can demonstrate a sustainable business model and capacity to service the borrowing;
  • is not eligible for mainstream funding from banks; and
  • is not insolvent or at risk of insolvency.

Loans are secured and offer flexible terms including capital repayment holidays if you need them. Interest is charged during the period of underpayment and your monthly payments may increase afterwards.
