The Law Society Charity
Local GrantsThe Law Society Charity supports organisations whose work is related to the law and the legal profession, and whose activities would be likely to benefit from funds made available on behalf of solicitors.
Projects will be considered for support if they help meet the charity’s aims and objectives criteria. Grants are normally in the range £5,000 – £15,000.
The charity only supports projects that promote:
- Human rights
- Access to justice
- Legal education
The Law Society Charity Trustee Board meetings for 2017 are given below, together with the last date for applications to be received for each meeting:
- Tuesday 13 July (applications by Friday 30 June)
- Tuesday 12 September (applications by Friday 1 September)
- Tuesday 12 December (applications by Friday 1 December)
