Variety offers equipment grants to individuals and organisations that care for a child who is seriously ill or disabled. Grants can be used for:
- medical, such as monitoring equipment.
- basic care like feeding tubes or hoists.
- sensory play or mobility equipment for a nursery or playgroup.
plus any other type of equipment that will aid their daily life. Wheelchairs may be applied for, however applicants need to complete a different application form.
Grants are typically anywhere between £100 and £6,000.
